The Circulation Department including Document Delivery Services is located on Level 1 of the William H. Hannon Library.
The Circulation Department is committed to serving library patrons by performing or assisting with various functions related to the accessibility and circulation of library materials. We are the first contact for most visitors, and are ready to help answer patrons' questions about the library building, its use and various library policies.
This department is responsible for circulating materials to all library patrons. This includes checking in and out materials, retrieving materials from both the basement storage and main stacks areas of the library per patron request, managing the pick- up and return of Interlibrary loan materials, and accepting payment of library fines via OneCard, check or Visa/Mastercard.
The Circulation Department is also responsible for stacks maintenance, keeping the books on the shelves in appropriate order. Circulation staff search for missing books and place recalls on checked out items and notify patrons when items are found.
Circulation staff maintain the daily lockers for students and semester long lockers for faculty; manage lost and found items; help with VTS and photocopying assistance, and act as back-up when the Information Commons staff is not available to answer basic questions.
