About the Information Skills Assessment (iSkills)

Loyola Marymount University is conducting a large-scale assessment of information literacy skills and knowledge among LMU students.  In this assessment we wish to learn about the information-seeking methods known and used by students.  Only aggregate, anonymous results will be reported and used.  Your individual responses and your identity will be kept strictly confidential.

This spring we are testing 100 seniors.  Four years ago we did a pilot test of 55 seniors.  The purpose is to compare results and analyze how seniors learn advanced information skills during their four years at LMU.  As part of the assessment group you will complete an online questionnaire in the Library E-classroom in WHH 118.  This process will last about 75 minutes, and you will be compensated for your participation.

All participants will receive $20 after completing the iSkills test.
