Printing in the Library
A OneCard or visitor photocopy card is required to print in the library.
Double-sided printing is encouraged – printers charge the same for single- or double-sided pages.
Print from your own laptop!
You can install our wireless printing software on your own laptop. Click through to find downloads for each type of printer – black and white printers, color printer, and the photocopiers! You can send a print job to your selected printer, and just drop by to swipe your card and pick it up. Printers will remember jobs for only about two hours.
Installation may take five to fifteen minutes and requires a software update and restart. Click through to see supported operating systems and installation instructions.
If you install the wireless printing software for the photocopiers (above), or use walk-up computers on the second or third floor, you can print to our photocopiers and pick up your print job without going downstairs!
Every academic year, LMU students, staff, and faculty members receive a $25 credit on their OneCard for printing. This $25 credit may be applied to printing in black and white and use of the multifunction copiers only.
You can change cash into Flexi-dollars at the VTS (Value Transfer Station) in the first floor photocopy room, add money online, or go to the One Card Office in the Von der Ahe Welcome Center.
Please consider saving your documents to LionShare, an LMU-provided secure place for file storage, sharing and collaboration on the web. LMU students, faculty, and staff all have access (through MyLMU – System Logins). See more information here. If you have questions or problems using this service, please contact the ITS Help Desk or the Student Help Desk .
You can purchase a photocopy card and add cash at the VTS machine on the first floor. The machine charges $1 for the card. Visitors with an access card may add money to that card instead.
Please note: Refunds will be given by the OneCard Office only in documented cases where machine error is at fault, and refund will be given on a card.
