THE THOMAS AND DOROTHY LEAVEY CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF LOS ANGELES RESEARCH COLLECTION

The Research Collection is a program of the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Center for the Study of Los Angeles. The Research Collection holds papers of Los Angeles public officials; Los Angeles real estate and industrial developers; reformers and reform movements, principally in late twentieth-century Los Angeles; and prominent Roman Catholic families in Los Angeles; and has other collections related to Los Angeles history and politics. The Department of Archives and Special Collections of Loyola Marymount University's library administers the Research Collection. Unless otherwise noted, the collections are open by appointment to researchers. Inquiries about the Research Collection should be directed to Clay Stalls, 310-338-5357, wstalls@lmu.edu, or email Special.Collections@lmu.edu.
