Visitors
For visitors
The William H. Hannon Library, its collections and services, are open to the public.
Please note: after 8:00PM, access to the library requires a Visitor's Card or a LMU OneCard. Loyola Marymount University alumni and Loyola Law School affiliates are encouraged to obtain a free LMU OneCard, which will allow access to the William H. Hannon Library during our full service hours. After midnight, only LMU affiliates (faculty, staff, LMU full-time students) are allowed in the building.
Residents of the Westchester (90045), Playa Vista (90094) and Playa del Rey (90293) neighborhoods may apply for and receive a free Visitor's Card which will give you access after hours. To obtain a card, go to the Circulation Desk Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-7:45PM, Saturday or Sunday 11:00AM-7:45PM. A current photo ID or utility bill, with your name and address, will be required for proof of neighborhood residency.
Children, under high school age must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. High school students should have proof via school, photo ID. Parents are responsible for ensuring that children adhere to library policies.
All visitors wishing to use the public computers should register at the Information Desk.
Visitors, including LMU alumni, who wish to have more in-depth use of the library and its services, can consult the Circulation Desk at 310.338.5709, or view detailed information regarding borrowing privileges.
