The William H. Hannon Library respects the privacy of all its users and considers patron records as confidential including internet usage.
The confidentiality kept by the library includes materials borrowed, information sought, and consultations. Materials provided through our Document Delivery Services Office are also considered confidential. Such records may, however, be consulted by library staff members as a part of carrying out library functions, such as sending out overdue notices. The library may disclose personal information to law enforcement officers (federal, state, or local) when such person(s) presents a subpoena, court order, or search warrant.
