Friends of the William H. Hannon Library

The Friends of the William H. Hannon Library provides needed financial resources to further the academic excellence of the library and the richness of its information resources. To become a member of the Friends of the William H. Hannon Library at Loyola Marymount University, please visit the library's giving page and make a gift of any amount. Your donation comes with the following benefits:

  • Collectors Club $2,500 or more: Supporters at this level receive a special gift from the library, a distinctive library bookmark, a library card with borrowing privileges (upon request), a set of note cards depicting selected works from Archives and Special Collections or photographs of the William H. Hannon Library, and a commemorative bookplate placed in a selected volume in their honor. They are also listed in the library’s annual report.
  • Scholars Circle $1,000 to $2,499: Supporters at this level receive a distinctive library bookmark, a library card with borrowing privileges (upon request), a set of note cards depicting selected works from Archives and Special Collections or photographs of the William H. Hannon Library, and a commemorative bookplate placed in a selected volume in their honor. They are also listed in the library’s annual report.
  • Authors Circle $500 to $999: Supporters at this level receive a distinctive library bookmark, a library card with borrowing privileges (upon request), and a commemorative bookplate placed in a selected volume in their honor. They are also listed in the library’s annual report.
  • Researcher $250 to $499: Supporters at this level receive a distinctive library bookmark and a commemorative bookplate placed in a selected volume in their honor. They are also listed in the library’s annual report. 
  • Supporter up to $249: Supporters at this level receive a distinctive library bookmark and are listed in the library’s annual report.

Donating Materials to Our Collections

Collection development in every library depends on the strategic acquisition of materials. The William H. Hannon Library welcomes gifts of materials ("gifts-in-kind") that are within the scope of our collections policies and which support the teaching, research, and curricular needs of LMU faculty and students. Gifts in kind may be made to either our general collections or our special collections.
