To engage with our larger library research community, IRDL sponsors several ongoing events:

IRDL has developed the Scholars' Speaker Series, coordinated annually by a working group of IRDL Scholars.

The IRDL Online Research Conference was launched in 2022, to facilitate discussions among librarian-researchers on current topics, with a methodological focus.

IRDL also hosts presentations in support of the Scholar community.
